Circle Time

The student will learn the calendar

Ask the children what day it is?
Allow one of the children to stick the day on the calendar.

Social Skills

The student will be able to say “hello” appropriately in response to greeting.

Watch the video chapter "Say Hello". Say hello to each student one by one and prompt (as needed) turn your body, look, say hello. Once a student is able greet in response to an adult's greeting, pair students for practice with each other.

Math

Students will be able to make a pattern of three colours and then repeat the pattern on paper.  

Trace as many circles as possible onto several different colours of construction paper,
Discuss with the children that they are going to make patterns with circles that they cut out.
They may chose 3 different colours and then glue them on their white paper in the order they want.

Then cut out one more circle of each colour they chose and then repeat the pattern

Snack

Improve children’ spontaneous communication

Children will pick up the symbol from his PECS book and hand it over in exchange for his desired edible item.

Students will recognize letters of alphabet

Place alphabet letters on the floor at one end of the room, Line the students up at the other end of the room, call out the letter, the students will race to the letter and find it and go back to their place, the student with the most letters will win.
